Back Panel
Power Switches
The Power switches apply power to the D-Show Profile con-
sole using their corresponding AC connectors.
Power Connectors
Two male, 3-pin IEC power sockets with cable retaining clips
are provided, one for each of the internal power supplies. Two
North American standard IEC power cables are provided with
each D-Show Profile console.
FOH Link
FOH Link connects D-Show Profile to the FOH Rack. One
FOH Link cable is included with each FOH Rack.
VGA
A single, female VGA connector is provided for driving a com-
patible video display (not included).
CAN Bus
This XLR3-M connector is not functional.
Footswitches
Two female 1/4-inch TS footswitch jacks are provided for
switch input. Footswitches can be normally open or normally
closed, latching or momentary. Functions are assigned to
these jacks on-screen in the Options > Events page.
USB Port
A single USB 1.1 port is provided on the back panel for inter-
facing with iLoks, keyboards, pointing devices or key disks.
Console Lights
These two XLR3-F jacks connect to the included console
lights.
GPI (General Purpose Interface)
GPI Input Specifications
A 25-pin, male D-Sub connector provides a total of 8 General
Purpose Interface (GPI) Inputs.
• Inputs are logic inputs with pull-ups. They may be driven by
logic outputs or contact closure to ground.
• Input signal range is 0 to 5.5V. The inputs are ESD protected.
• Input signaling uses standard TTL logic levels: 0.8V or less
for a logic low. 2.0V or greater for a logic high.
• Inputs are compatible with 5V TTL (e.g. 74LS series), 5V
CMOS (e.g. 74HC series), 3.3V CMOS (e.g. 74LVC series)
• Inputs provide an internal 5K ohm pull-up to +5V.
• All Inputs are referenced to the same internal ground,
which is connected to AC safety ground.
