sends a keepalive message
(optional).
esr(config-pptp)# ppp timeout
keepalive <TIME >
<TIME> – time in seconds, takes
values of [1..32767].
Default value: 10.
15 Change the number of failed data-
link tests before breaking the
session (optional).
esr(config-pptp)# ppp failure-
count <NUM>
<NUM> – the number of failed data-
link tests, specified in the range
[1..100].
Default value: 10.

Objective:
Configure PPTP tunnel on a router:
