Documenting machine data and building process
Continuous monitoring and documentation of the machine and the building process
is used to avoid mistakes and to be able to optimally trace the interaction between
machine, material and process.
Machine-specific documentation
The data for the machine configuration must be backed up at regular intervals.

Building process-specific documentation
- The process-relevant data from the time of job start are documented in a file
in the PSW report database.
Documenting building process using the PSW.
- Events and parameters for the individual jobs and components are
documented in the EOSTATE software and can be used for further analyses
and evaluations.

Backing up machine configuration
The file packcft.exe packs all machine-specific files in one file with a time stamp. In
case of a system crash or data loss, this file can be sent to the EOS-hotline.
1. Close PSW.
2. Backup the data from the directory c:\Programs\eos\psw\Config on the process
computer:
Back up the file SI<Serial number>.txt.
Run file packcft.exe from the directory c:\Programs\eos\psw\tools .
Risk of data loss!
Close the
PSW
before you run the file
packcft.exe
.
Use the latest version of the file
packcft.exe
.
The file packcft.exe packs the following files and prepares a time stamp.
