Preparing statistics
1. Select period that contains the jobs to be analysed.
See Software EOSTATE manual, section 4, Defining period.
2. Select Statistic view.
3. Open job list:
Click Open job list button.
4. In the Job list group box select the job(s) to be analysed and accept using OK.
5. In the Statistic group box in the Statistic type list box select the required or
optionally available statistic type and double-click.
The selected statistic appears.
Backing up, archiving database
For data backup it is sensible to save the job data at regular intervals with the aid of
the EOSTATE software application.
In case of problems with the software, the database with the saved job data can be
sent to the EOS-hotline for analysis.
1. Quit process software on the machine.
2. In EOSTATE select the DB-Service view.
3. Make backup copy of the database:
• In the DB maintenance (local DBMS) group box click the Backup button.
The Browse For Folder window appears.
• Select folder and accept using OK.
A backup copy of the database is made.
You will find further information on the maintenance of the database in the
Software EOSTATE manual, section 5, Basic module.
Context menus in the diagram view for a statistic:
➢ In the diagram view further settings can be selected using the right mouse
button.
➢ Additional information can be displayed in the information bar beside the
diagram view using the right mouse button.
Note that the backup copy of the database can have a size of several hundred
MB!
