For parts that are critical in relation to distortion, powder generously refreshed with
new powder should be used.
Ambient conditions
Compliance with the ambient conditions as per the information in the Installation
Conditions manual and the Operating instructions is essential for a trouble-free
building process, as well as for maintaining the value of the machine and the
accessories.
Non-compliance with the ambient conditions
Non-compliance with the ambient conditions can result in malfunctions in the
building process as well as damage to the machine and to the accessories.
➢ Room temperature too high:
- Overload of the Cooling system
- Inadequate cooling of the optical assemblies
- Formation of condensed water on cooled assemblies
➢ Room temperature too low:
- Longer warming up of the machine to the building temperature
- Formation of condensed water on trim panels and housings
➢ Atmospheric humidity too high:
- Formation of condensed water on trim panels and housings
➢ Atmospheric humidity too low:
- Dosing problems and recoating faults due to increased electrostatic charging
of the powder.
Rule of thumb:
The higher the portion of new powder, the less distortion on the parts.
