Paper Length Sensor Adjustment
 Follow the steps exactly in the way instructed, otherwise a fatal error will occur.
 If these adjustments are inaccurate, proper operation of the printer is not guaranteed..
1. Enter the Sensor Check menu (See page 4-16).
2. Select ASF-Length and press Enter.
3. Place a sheet of letter-sized paper (or the letter size tool) against the right edge guide and adjust the left
edge guide to the paper or tool, as shown in the figure below.
4. Put the rear edge guide up, adjust it to the rear edge of the paper and press Enter.
5. Remove the paper or tool and place the rear edge guide in the down position, flush with the paper tray.
6. Place a B4-size paper or B4 size tool against the right edge guide, then adjust the left edge guide to the
paper or tool, as shown in the figure below. Press Enter.
