Main Waste Ink Drain Pad Removal
If Protect Counter A reaches the upper limit value of 60,000 dots, the printer displays a maintenance error,
and the main waste ink pad must be replaced. You can find the Protect Counter A value on the sheet printed
during the default setting mode (See Chapter 1, page 1-27).
1. Perform EEPROM reset (See page 1-25 in Chapter 1).
2. Remove upper housing (See page 3-4).
3. Remove the printer mechanism (See page 3-10).
4. Remove the main waste ink drain pads.
