ASF PW (Paper Width) Sensor Removal
1. Remove the upper housing (See page 3-4).
2. Remove the printer mechanism (See page 3-10).
3. Remove the edge guide (See page 3-10).
4. Using a screwdriver or other pointed tool, release the hook securing the ASF PW sensor cover to the left
edge guide. Then remove the ASF PW sensor cover by opening it in the two steps shown in Figure 3-24.
5. Remove the ASF PW sensor.
REMINDER

After placing the printer mechanism back on the lower housing, connect the ASF PW
sensor connector cable to the ASF PW sensor. Then attach the ASF PW sensor cover.

When mounting the ASF PW sensor, fit the actuator of the ASF PW sensor into the groove
on the ASF PW sensor sliding plate.
