Replacing the BlackDiamond 10808 Air Filter
This section describes how to replace the BlackDiamond 10808 series air filter.
You need the following tools and equipment to install an air filter:
● # 2 Phillips screwdriver
● Replacement filter
NOTE
Extreme Networks recommends that you visually inspect the air filter at least once every three months. Replace or
clean as necessary.
To replace the filter in the BlackDiamond 10808 switch:
1 Remove the bezel from the front of the chassis using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
2 Slide the old filter out from the chassis.
3 Slide a new filter into the chassis.
Use the directional arrows on the top side of the filter to verify that the filter is facing the correct
way, as shown in Figure 148.
