Overview
Summit X450 family and X250e series switches are shipped with an internal power supply, which
supplies all of the power needed for most switch operation. An optional redundant power supply can
be added to protect against a power supply failure and to provide increased support for PoE operation
on applicable switches.
Refer to Table 38 for a compatibility chart of Summit X450 family switches and external power supplies.
