Replacing the BlackDiamond 10808 Power Supply
Controller
Two power supply controllers installed in the BlackDiamond 10808 switch provide primary/backup
redundancy in case one of the controllers fails or is removed. At least one power supply controller must
be installed at all times.
CAUTION
Do not reach into the power supply controller access area when power is on.
Figure 149 shows the front panel of the power supply controller.

NOTE
The RJ-45 port on the power supply controller is not an Ethernet port and no connection should be made to it.
The front panel of the power supply controller has status LEDs. Table 26 describes the LED behavior on
the power supply controller.
