Replacing the iLO MP Battery
Step 1. Lift up on the battery holder retaining clip with a flat-head screwdriver and slide the battery into
the holder. The positive (+) terminal of the battery faces up.
CAUTION Only lift the battery high enough to clear the holder. Excessive stress on the battery
holder retaining clip may damage the clip.
Step 2. Perform all of the steps described in the procedure for “Removing and Replacing iLO MP
Hardware” on page 87
Step 3. Verify the battery replacement by using the utilities identified in the HP Integrity rx2620 Server
User Service Guide.
• Use the iLO MP commands to verify operation.
