Diskette drive (optional)
This section describes how to remove and install a diskette drive.
Removing a diskette drive
1. Disconnect power from the system (Predisassembly procedures on page 58), remove the side
access panel (
Removing the side access panel on page 64), and then remove the front bezel
(

2. Disconnect the power (1) and data (2) cables from the back of the diskette drive.

3. Lift the green drive-lock release tab (1) and gently slide the drive out of the chassis at the same
time (2).

NOTE: To install a diskette drive, reverse the previous steps. You might need to remove the front bezel
to install the drive.
