If the pressure gauge precision does not reach 60 Pa (absolute pressure), ensure that the
pressure gauge pointers stay in the minimum scale. In addition, preserve the pressure for
one hour and check whether the pressure increases.

4.1.3 Precharging Refrigerant
Prerequisites
Before precharging refrigerant, ensure that air is exhausted from the gas pipe
connecting to the refrigerant steel cylinder.
Context
● Wear antifreeze gloves when handling refrigerant.
● When charging refrigerant, you are advised to use a safety valve to prevent
refrigerant leakage during the removal of the leather hose, which may cause
frostbite.
● Charge the refrigerant (R410A) after checking that the cooling system does not
leak and the vacuum meets the requirements.
● Charge refrigerant as required upon calculation shown in 4.1.1 Amount
Requirements for the Refrigerant and Refrigerant Oil to Be Charged.
Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
Procedure
Step 1 Close the high-pressure valve and low-pressure valve of the pressure gauge.
Step 2 Replace the vacuum pump with the steel cylinder of liquid refrigerant, as shown in
Figure 4-3.
