6.4 Troubleshooting

Certain circuits in the equipment have lethal voltages. Only professional
technicians are allowed to perform maintenance.
NO TICE
If jumpers are used for troubleshooting, remove them after troubleshooting.
Connected jumpers may
aect control functions and damage equipment.
Table 6-7 Possible causes and troubleshooting measures
Symptom Possible Cause Solution
The equipment
generates abnormal
noise.
The compressor, fan, or
pipe is loose.
Check that all
components are securely
installed.
The compressor does not
work.
The high-pressure switch
reacts.
Check the high-pressure
switch status.
The switch, fuse, or cable
is disconnected.
Check the main switch,
compressor switch, fuse,
and cable connections.
The compressor is
damaged.
Replace the compressor.
The compressor does not
receive a request for
starting.
Check startup requests
on the LCD.
The compressor
discharge temperature is
too high.
The refrigerant loop or
component is blocked.
Clean up foreign matter
from the refrigerant
loop.
The outdoor unit is
installed in an
inappropriate position.
(The outdoor unit should
be installed with
sunshades to keep away
from direct sunlight and
the installation
clearances should meet
requirements.)
Install the outdoor unit
in a correct position,
without exposure to
direct sunlight and with
appropriate installation
clearances.
