5.6.2 ATA Flat Cable Connection
The ATA 66/100 flat cable connects to an IDE device. Follow the instructions below to
connect an IDE HDD to the IMBA-8650.
Step 1: Locate the IDE connector. The locations of the IDE device connectors are
shown in Chapter 3.
Step 2: Insert the connector. Connect the IDE cable connector to the onboard connector.

Figure 5-7. A key on the front of the cable connector ensures it can only be
inserted in one direction.
