Step 3: Connect the cable to an FDD device. Connect the connector at the other end
of the cable to an FDD device. Make sure that pin 1 on the cable corresponds to
pin 1 on the connector.Step 0:
5.6.6 SATA Drive Connection
The IMBA-8650 is shipped with SATA drive cables and SATA drive power cable. Follow
the steps below to connect the SATA drives to the motherboard.
Step 1: Locate the connectors. The locations of the SATA drive connectors are shown in
Chapter 3.
Step 2: Insert the cable connector. Press the clip on the connector at the end of the
SATA cable and insert the cable connector into the onboard SATA drive
connector. See
Figure 5-11.
