Totalizer Errors
Noise on the totalizer input can be a problem, especially on signals with a slow rise time. This noise can cre-
ate a false indication of a threshold crossing. See System Cabling and Connections for more information.
Contact bounce on external switches can create false counts. All mechanical switches bounce when they
open and close. Use an external capacitor to filter the contact bounce.
Analog Output (DAC)
The DAQM907A module has two analog outputs and senses capable of outputting calibrated voltages or
currents with 18 bits of resolution.
Each DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) channel can be used as a programmable voltage or current source
for analog input to other devices.
