Press Clear Offset to clear the offset values to 0.
% Scaling
%performs a percent change operation. The result is the difference between the reading and the reference
value, expressed in percentage:
To configure, select scaling function as % and press Settings to open the configuration menu.
Press Measure Reference to perform an immediate reference measurement and saves the reference value
for subsequent measurements, or press Ref Value to specify the reference value.
Press Default Reference to set the reference value to its factory default settings.
dBm Scaling
Selects dBm scaling for the present measurement function. The result is a calculation of power delivered to
a reference resistance (specified using the Ref R softkey), relative to 1 milliwatt.
dBm = 10 x log
10
(reading
2
/ reference resistance / 1 mW)
To configure, select scaling function as dBm and press Settings to open the configuration menu.
The reference resistance value (Ref R) may be 50, 75, 93, 110, 124, 125, 135, 150, 250, 300, 500, 600
(default), 800, 900, 1000, 1200, or 8000 Ω. Press Ref R to specify the reference resistance value for con-
verting voltage measurements to dBm.
dB Scaling
Selects dB scaling for the present measurement function. The result is the difference between the input sig-
nal and a stored dB relative reference value, with both values converted to dBm:
dB = measurement in dBm - reference value in dBm
To configure, select scaling function as dB and press Settings to open the configuration menu.
