Save
The Save softkey allows you to creates folders and files for saving instrument state or user preferences. Also
allows you capture and save a screen image.
Action
Selects the folder or file action to be performed.
State - Saves the current instrument state. State files may have any name, but always have the .sta exten-
sion. Instrument states saved by the SCPI (*SAV command) are saved in file names STATE_0.sta through
STATE_4.sta.
To save, press State and Browse to the internal or external location for the folder and press Select, press
File Name, enter a file name and press Done. Selects State/Preference to Save State/Save Preference
on the specified file.
Readings - Saves the readings from the trend chart or histogram.
To save, press Readings and Browse to the internal or external location for the folder and press Select,
press File Name, enter a file name and press Done. Press Separator softkey to specify the character
(comma, tab, or semicolon) to use for separating the information on each row. When done, press Save
Readings to save the readings used to create the trend chart or histogram to the specified path and file.
Capture Display - Captures the image on the display.
To save, press Capture Display and Browse to the internal or external location for the folder and press
Select, press File Name, enter a file name and press Done. Selects the file format for captured screen as
.bmp extension (bitmap file format) or .png extension (portable network graphics format), then press Save
Screen to save the screen in the file and format specified. The content captured is the display state at the
time the [Save Recall] key was pressed.
Browse
Opens a browser for the internal flash memory and external USB memory.
