a. Slide the release latch to the left to open the drive tray handle.

Open the drive handle.

Slide the drive out of the drive bay.

• Keep static-sensitive parts in their static-protective packages until installation to prevent exposure to
static electricity. Handle the parts with an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding systems.
Place the parts on a static-protective surface.
Procedure
Step 1. Remove the drive filler from the drive bay and keep the drive filler in a safe place.
