Custom tools created with the GDK act much like native Gocator measurement tools, running at native
speeds and taking advantage of features such as anchoring. The GDKsupports all data types (profile and
surface), and tools created with the GDKuse the same data visualization as native tools.
For the initial release, measurement tools created with the GDKonly support Ethernet output.
Also, these tools can't be used with Gocator Accelerator. These capabilities will be added soon.
