To specify the layout:
1. Go to the Manage page and click on the Sensor System category.
2. If you are configuring the layout of a dual-sensor system, select an assigned Buddy sensor in the
Visible Sensors list.
For information on assigning a Buddy sensor, see Buddy Assignment below.
3. Select a layout by clicking one of the layout buttons.

Buddy Assignment
In a dual-sensor system, the Main sensor controls a second sensor, called the Buddy sensor, after the
Buddy sensor is assigned to the Main sensor. You configure both sensors through the Main sensor's
interface.
Main and Buddy sensors must be assigned unique IP addresses before they can be used on the
same network. Before proceeding, connect the Main and Buddy sensors one at a time (to avoid
an address conflict) and use the steps described in Running a Dual-Sensor System (page 30) to
assign each sensor a unique address.
When a sensor is acting as a Buddy, it is not discoverable and its web interface is not
accessible.
To assign a Buddy sensor:
1. Go to the Manage page and click on the Sensor System category.
