11.5.3 Entering limit values
This section describes how to enter unknown limit values by moving to the
shutdown points.
You can enter known limit values directly;

Requirement
Manual input must be switched off.
• Press button (1) repeatedly until the dot turns black
Overall height/
working radius
The limit values for the overall height and the working radius are entered in
the same way.
The relevant monitoring function (3) or (4)
must be switched off – dot is black;

• Press the button once:
Bar (5) is red – input on. Cancel input – press
button
ö once.
• (A) – Move the main boom head to just
before the shutdown point without a load,
e.g. at 17.5 m – value (6)
• (B) – Press button Ö once
– The current value (6) will be accepted as
the limit value (7)
– The bar (5) goes out
• Switch on monitoring; à p. 11 - 126

Risk of accident due to limits set too low
When entering the limit values, bear in mind that, even after switching off
the engine, movements can still occur that would bring the load into the
shutdown range (e.g. due to the load swinging or the boom bending). For
this reason, always enter the limit values with sufficient safety distance to
the object.
