4. Hydraulic System Servicing
A. Service the Hydraulic System with Hand
Pump (Optional)
(Ref. Figure 207)
Consumable Materials
(Ref. CSPSPM)
Item Nomenclature
C112 Hydraulic Fluid
(1). Open access panels L155 and R155 (ref.
Section 06-00-00).
(2). Examine sight gages (5) of both
manifolds/reservoirs for low hydraulic
system fluid levels.
(3). Do a check of the fluid level in the hand
pump at the sight gauge (1).
(4). If the fluid level is low, do these steps:
(a). Remove cover (2).
Do not mix different specifica
tion hydraulic fluids. Make sure
only hydraulic fluid (C112) is used to service
the hydraulic systems for all rotorcraft op
erations in temperatures more than -40°F
(-40°C). Damage to the rotorcraft can occur.
Hydraulic Fluid (C112)
(b). Add hydraulic fluid (C112).
(c). Install cover (2).
(d). Select the system for servicing with
the selector valve lever (3) on the
hand pump.
(e). Disengage pump handle (4) from its
stowed position.
(f). Turn pump handle (4) in the direc
tion of the arrow (clockwise).
NOTE: Servicing is complete when the hydrau
lic manifold fluid level sight gauges (5) are
at the correct level.
(g). Stow pump handle (4).
(5). Close access panels L155 and R155 (ref.
Section 06-00-00).

(a). Select on the GSE panel the applica
ble system (1 or 2) for servicing.
(b). Connect the pressure line from
hydraulic mule (T2001) to the
pressure port on panel.
(c). Remove the drain tube from the BL
port on the manifold/reservoir of the
applicable system.
(d). Clamp a 9-foot (3-meter) approxi
