3. Hydraulic Ground Support Equipment
(GSE) Panel
A. Hydraulic GSE Panel Removal
(Ref. Figure 202)
NOTE: System 1 and System 2 GSE panel re
moval typical.
(1). Open L155 (Ref Section 06-00-00).
(2). Put rags on transmission deck below
GSE tubes to catch hydraulic fluid
spills.
Hydraulic Fluid (C112)
(3). Remove GSE panel (1).
(a). Disconnect pressure tube (2).
(b). Disconnect return tube (4).
(c). Remove bolts (6) and washers (7).
Remove GSE panel.
(4). Install protective caps on all fittings.
(5). Remove rags from transmission deck.
B. Hydraulic GSE Panel Inspection
(Ref. Figure 202)
(1). Inspect tube end fittings, GSE panel
couplings, and caps for cracks, rounded
flats, and damaged threads. None
allowed.
(2). Inspect GSE panel for dents, nicks,
cracks, and corrosion. None allowed.
(3). Inspect coupling cap lanyards for wear
and security of attachment. No damage
allowed.
C. Hydraulic GSE Panel Installation

C112 Hydraulic Fluid
C232 Sealant
(1). Put GSE panel in its installed position.
(2). Install bolts and washers. Torque bolts.
Sealant (C232)
(3). Mix sealant (C232) (Ref. manufactur
er's instructions).
(4). Apply a fillet bead of sealant along edge
of panel.
(5). Remove protective caps from tube and
coupling port fittings.
Hydraulic Fluid (C112)
(6). Lubricate threads of couplings with
clean hydraulic fluid (C112).
(7). Connect return tube. Torque coupling
nut.
(8). Connect pressure tube. Torque coupling
nut.
(9). Service and leak test hydraulic system.
(10). Close L155 (Ref. Section 06-00-00).
