4. Hydraulic Pump
A. Hydraulic Pump Removal
(Ref. Figure 203)
(1). Remove transmission forward access
door assembly L155 or R155. Remove
swashplate forward fairing assembly
T155 (Ref. Section 06-00-00).
(2). Locate pump.
(a). System No. 1 pump is on transmis
sion forward, left-hand accessory
drive pad.
(b). System No. 2 pump is on transmis
sion forward, right-hand accessory
drive pad.
(3). Place rags on transmission deck
beneath hydraulic pump to catch
hydraulic fluid spills.
Hydraulic Fluid (C112)
(4). Empty both system reservoirs through
manifold bleed valve.
(5). Slowly loosen pump pressure hose (1) at
pump until fluid begins to seep from
fitting.
(6). From bleed valve on manifold within
the same system as the pump being
removed, drain fluid until fluid stops
seeping from loosened pump pressure
fitting.
(7). Slowly loosen hose (5) from pump
control port fitting until fluid begins to
seep.
(8). Drain fluid from manifold bleed valve of
opposite system until fluid stops
seeping.
