A. Hinged Avionics Shelf Inspection
(1). Inspect hinged avionics shelf for
security of installation.
(2). Inspect shelf and attaching brackets for
cracks, corrosion or any other type of
damage or deformation. Scratches or
gouges are allowed up to 0.006 inch
(0.152 mm). Corrosion spots up to
0.010 inch (0.254 mm) in depth shall
be removed and repaired (Ref. CSP-
SPM).
(3). Verify that shelf assembly and avionics
shelf channel meet electrical bonding
requirements (Ref. CSP-SPM).
