A. Disassembly
(Ref. Figure 421).
NOTE:
 You must have an overhaul kit to perform
this procedure (Ref. CSP-900IPL-4).
 Use care when you remove the end cap
from the housing, the poppet is spring
loaded.
Fuel, Aviation Turbine (C114)
(1). Remove end cap (2) from housing (1).
(2). Remove spring (3), poppet (4), O-ring
(5), and static seal (6). Discard O-ring
and static seal.
Alcohol, Isopropyl (C419)
(3). Clean components with isopropyl
alcohol (C419).
(4). Inspect components for contamination.
None allowed.
(5). Inspect poppet for damage. None
allowed.
(6). Inspect the surfaces that the O-ring
and static seal seat against for damage.
None allowed.
B. Assembly
(1). Wipe clean the surfaces that the O-ring
and static seal seat against on poppet
and end cap.
Lubricant (C103)
(2). Lightly lubricate O-ring and static seal
with lubricant (C103).
NOTE: Install O-ring with color marking to
wards the poppet.
(3). Install new O-ring on poppet.
(4). Install new static seal on end cap.
(5). Apply a thin coat of lubricant (C103) to
the housing threads and the area of the
static seal seat.
