NOTE: Prior to removing all bolts (17) reach
under access cover and support the fuel level
control valve (13).
(7). Remove bolts (17) washers (18) and
packings (19).
(8). Disconnect fuel transfer hose (10) from
elbow (9) and remove fuel level support
valve and attached parts.
(9). Remove check valve (6) from aft LH
main fuel tank vent/rollover valve
mounting plate. Remove packing (7)
and discard.
(10). Remove loosen jam nut (8) and remove
bulkhead elbow(9) from check valve.
Remove packing (7) and discard.
Remove jam nut.
(11). Disconnect fuel transfer hose (10) from
reducer (11).
(12). Remove reducer (11) from fuel level
control valve (13). Remove and discard
packing (12).
(13). Remove bolts (14) and washers (15)
from fuel level control valve and remove
valve from support bracket assembly.

Aviation Turbine Fuel
(1). Lubricate new packing with aviation
turbine fuel (C113).
(2). Install new packing onto check valve.
Ensure flow arrow on check
valve is facing down after instal
lation.
(3). Install check valve into aft LH main
fuel tank vent/rollover valve mounting
plate. Torque check valve (Ref. CSP-
SPM).
(4). Lubricate new packing with aviation
turbine fuel (C113).
(5). Install nut onto bulkhead elbow and
install new packing onto elbow.
(6). Install bulkhead elbow into check
valve. Torque jam nut (Ref. CSP-SPM).
(7). Attach fuel level control valve to
support bracket. Torque bolts (Ref.
CSP-SPM).
(8). Lubricate new packing with aviation
turbine fuel (C113).
(9). Install new packing onto reducer and
install reducer into fuel level control
valve. Torque reducer (Ref. CSP-SPM).
(10). Using milli-ohm meter (T1002), test
between reducer, level control valve,
and control valve support for a class S
electrical bond (Ref. CSP-SPM).
Environmental seal is not required.
(11). Attach fuel transfer hose to reducer.
Torque hose (Ref. CSP-SPM).
(12). Place fuel level control valve support
and attached parts into main fuel tank.
(13). Attach fuel transfer hose to elbow at
check valve. Torque hose (Ref. CSP-
SPM).
(14). Support fuel level valve and position
main fuel tank access cover over valve
support bracket. Install bolts, washers,
and packings. Torque bolts (Ref.
CSP-SPM).
(15). Using milli-ohm meter (T1002), test
between access panel and control valve
support for a class S electrical bond
(Ref. CSP-SPM). Environmental seal is
not required.
(16). Align access cover attachment holes
and install bolts and washers. Torque
bolts (Ref. CSP-SPM).
