CABIN COMPARTMENT INTERIOR
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
General - Unless noted, individual interior
components are common to all trim configura
tions - Business, Commercial and Utility.
1. Cabin Seat Assembly
A. Cabin Seat Assembly Removal
(Ref. Figure 401)
(1). Depress spring loaded collar to disen
gage BROWNLINE fittings (1) on each
end of attenuation tube (2) to release
cabin seat assembly (2).
(2). Remove seat assembly (2).
B. Cabin Seat Assembly Installation
(Ref. Figure 401)
(1). Align cabin seat assembly (2) with seat
anchor plates (3).
(2). Depress spring loaded collar to engage
BROWNLINE fittings (1) on each end
of cabin seat assembly (2) and insert
into mating roof and floor anchor plates
(3) to secure. Floor attachments should
be secured first, and then ceiling
fittings.
(3). Ensure fitting collars have fully and
properly engaged mating base attach
ments.
2. Restraint System
A. Restraint System Removal
(Ref. Figure 401)
(1). Remove nuts (4), washers (5 and 11),
bushings (12) and bolts (8) that attach
shoulder restraint harness (13) to seat
tubes.
(2). Remove nuts (4), washers (5, 9 and 10),
bushings (7) and bolts (6) that attach
lap restraint harness (13) to seat tubes.
B. Restraint System Installation
(Ref. Figure 401)
(1). Install bolts (6), bushings (7), washers
(5, 9 and 10) and nuts (4) attaching lap
restraint harness (13) to seat tubes.
(2). Install bolts (8), bushings (12), washers
(5 and 11) and nuts (4) attaching
shoulder restraint harness (13) to seat
tubes.
(3). Torque nuts.
3. Cabin Seat Fabric Assembly
A. Cabin Seat Fabric Removal
(Ref. Figure 402)
(1). Remove cabin seat assembly from
aircraft.
(2). Untie seat fabric cord (3).
(3). Remove existing seat fabric assembly
(1).
B. Cabin Seat Fabric Installation
(Ref. Figure 402)
(1). Install cabin seat fabric assembly (1)
around seat pan (4) and secure to seat
back frame.
NOTE: Tension seat fabric to seat pan per the
following steps.
(2). Make a ”bowline knot” (2) (Ref. stage 1)
on one of cord (3) ends.
(3). Thread cord (3) around bottom of seat
pan (4) (Ref. top view).
(4). Thread the free end of cord (3) through
the bowline (2) (Ref. stage 2) loop and
bring to required tension by applying
25 kg. (55.13 lbs.) minimum load.
(5). Tie knot while keeping tension (Ref.
stages 3 and 4).
(6). Secure knot with tie-down straps (5)
(Ref. stage 5).
(7). Apply shrink sleeve (6) on ends of cord
(3) (Ref. stage 5).
(8). Install cabin seat assembly into
aircraft.
