B. Assist Handel Installation
(Ref. Figure 1)
(1). Install fowrard clamp (41) 18 inches
from end of support tube (4) (measured
along bottom of support tube to bottom
edge of clamp) using bolts (37), washers
(39), and nuts (38).
(2). Install handle (43) into forward clamp
(41) using bolt (40), washers (39), and
nut (38).
NOTE: Adjust aft clamp (42) position to pre
vent binding occuring between clamp and
support tube (4).
(3). Install aft clamp (42) on handle (43)
using bolt (40), washers (39) and nut
(38).
(4). Secure aft clamp (42) to support tube
(4) 19.3 inched from end of support tube
(measured along bottom of support tube
to bottom edge of clamp) using bolts
(37), washers (39), and nuts (38).
C. Fairing Installation
(Ref. Figure 2)
(1). Attach upper fairing (1) to support
assemblies (2 and 3) and clip assem
blies (4, 5, 6 and 7) using screws (8) and
washers (9).
(2). Attach lower fairing (10) to support
assemblies (2 and 3), clip assemblies (4,
5, 6 and 7) and upper fairing (1) using
screws (8) and washers (9).
(3). Attach end cap assembly (11) to upper
and lower fairings (1 and 10) using
screws (8) and washers (9).
