(c). Make sure there is no corrosion on
metal components.
NOTE: Repair minor damage to panels with
clear adhesive tape (C714).
Adhesive Paste, Acrylic (C422)
(2). Examine panels and fuselage structure
for missing or loose hook and loop tape
fasteners.
(a). If loose, bond with adhesive paste
(C422).
(3). Make sure interior lights are service
able and electrical connections have no
damage.
(a). No damage permitted.
(4). Examine carpet for cuts, tears, correct
installation, or other unserviceable
conditions.
(5). If installed, examine overhead passen
ger service units for correct operation
and damage.
(a). Make sure air vent gaspers move
freely and are not clogged.
(b). Do a operational check of each light.
(c). No damage permitted.
(6). Make sure you can read the placards
and decals.
(7). Make sure placards and decals are
correctly installed.
E. Seat Operational Test
(1). Make sure seats fold up into their
stowed position and attach with strap.
F. Seat Restraint System Operational Test
(1). Latch lap belt and shoulder harness.
(a). Make sure latch mechanism operates
correctly.
(b). Make sure straps do not disengage
from buckle unless released by
buckle operation.
