A. Discharge Cartridge Removal
(1). Remove electrical load center (Ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 96-00-00).
Fire Extinguisher
(2). For removal of fire extinguisher
discharge cartridge in position:
(a). Left primary, detach connector P507
(1) from red port (6).
(b). Left alternate, detach P510 (2) from
blue port (7).
(c). Right primary, detach connector
P508 (9) from red port (14).
(d). Right alternate, detach P509 (10)
from blue port (15).
(3). Install shunt plug cover (T1006) onto
discharge cartridge.
(4). Cut lock wire from discharge cartridge
and remove cartridge from fire bottle.
B. Discharge Cartridge Installation
 Red coded discharge cartridge must be
installed in red coded discharge port.
 Blue coded discharge cartridge must be
installed in blue coded discharge port.
Fire Extinguisher
(1). Install discharge cartridge into fire
bottle discharge outlet port. Torque
cartridge 90-100 in lb (10.16-11.29
Nm) and safety with lockwire (C702).
(2). Remove shunt plug cover (T1006).
(3). For installation of fire extinguisher
discharge cartridge in position:
(a). Left primary, attach connector P507
to red port (6).
(b). Left alternate, remove attach P510
to blue port (7).
(c). Right primary, attach connector P508
to red port (14).
(d). Right alternate, attach P509 to blue
port (15).
(4). Install electrical load center (Ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 96-00-00).
8. Discharge Tube Assembly
(Ref. Figure 202)
A. Discharge Tube Assembly Removal
NOTE: This task is typical for left and right
Discharge Tube Assembly removal.
(1). Remove electrical load center (Ref.
CSP-900RMM-3, Section 96-00-00).
(2). Disconnect discharge tube assembly (5)
or (13) connector nuts from deck fitting
(30) or (31) and fire bottle discharge
port fitting (6) or (14) and remove
discharge tube assembly.
B. Discharge Tube Assembly Installation
NOTE: This task is typical for left and right
Discharge Tube Assembly installation.
