For Smart Metering or C&I applications a communication module will fit under the terminal cover
of the MCS301 meter, see below fig 25.

The interface between meter and communication module provides the following feature set:
• The module is powered from the meter
• Transparent communication, using the DLMS/COSEM protocol of the meter
With this solution different communication module are supported:
o COM200-2G - GSM/GPRS module
o COM200-4G - LTE module with fallback to 3G and G2
o COM300 - Ethernet based module
o COM400 - TLS module to coonect the meter to a BSI Gateway
o COM410 - adapter module
o COM420 - CL0 adapter module
o COM430 - RS485 module
