16.7 Power Quality indicators
Using the power Quality indicators W1-W4 below indications can be measured (FW 02.02.11)
• Slow voltage variation – W1
• Total harmonic distortion detection – W2
• Voltage unbalance – W3
• Flicker detection – W4
The power quality detection is based on below criterias:
• Measuring period is 1 week, starting from Monday at 00:00
• The measurement period is 10min (standard), configurable
• Only valid data N are considered in the range of Un +/-15% (configurable value)
• 10min periods during a power outage (1ph or 3ph) are not considered
16.7.1 Slow voltage variation – indicator W1
Using the slow voltage measurement the 10min average voltage values of any phase are
considered. Voltage changes below 1s are not included.
The characteristic of the indicator W1 for the slow voltage change measurement is based on:
• Detection of 10min over voltage value U
over
in any phase, U
n
< U <= Un+10%
(value configurable)
• Detection of 10min under voltage values U
under
in any phase, U
n
-10% =< U < Un
(value configurable)
• Conformity level CP=95% (configurable), number of 10min values inside the range of
95% over 1 week
N: number of valid 10min values, inside boundaries of +/-15%, not increasing during
power outage
N
1
: number of 10min values, which are outside the range of : U

-10% < U < U
