Troubleshooting
Tool lifts up the paper
Drawn lines are broken or smudged
No reciprocating movement
Is the paper (sheet) wrinkled or flexed? Flatten out the work. ( P.2-6)
Is pen up / down operation defective?
Turn off the power and move Unit A vertically.
Contact your Mimaki representative if Unit A does
not move up and down normally.
Isn't Z stroke too small?
Change the Z stroke value.

Isn't pen up height too low?
Lift up the pen up height.

Is the Unit A screw loose? Re-tighten the Unit A screw. ( P.2-14)
Is the drawing speed too high?
Decrease the “SPEED” in the cutting conditions.

Is the drawing pressure too low?
Increase the “PRESSURE” in the cutting
conditions. ( P.2-11)
Is the pen out of ink?
Replace the pen with a new one.

Inadequate lubrication of the
reciprocating shaft?
Apply a small amount of grease to the shaft.

Is the oscillation movement turned off?
Set the “VIBRATION” cutting condition from 1 to 5.

Contact your Mimaki representative if reciprocating
movement does not start.
Isn't the protection door open? Firmly close the protection door.
