9.2 General Measurements
9.2.1 2D General Measurements
2D general measurements refer to general measurements on images of B, Color, Power
or iScape imaging modes. The measurements listed below can be performed:

Distance Measures the distance between two points of interest.
Depth
The distance between probe surface and the probing point along
ultrasound beam.
Angle The angle between two intersected planes.
Area Measures the area and perimeter of a closed region.
Volume The volume of a target.
Cross Line
The length of two line segments, which are perpendicular to each
other.
Parallel Line The distance between each pair of parallel lines in a sequence.
Trace Length Measures the length of a curve on the image.
Distance Ratio
Measures the lengths of any two line segments and the calculated
ratio.
Area Ratio The areas of any two regions and the calculated ratio.
B histogram
The grayscale distribution of ultrasonic echo signals in a closed
region.
B profile(not
available for M7T)
The grayscale distribution of ultrasonic echo signals across a line.
Color Velocity Color flow velocity (only valid for Color mode).
VF Diam
Measures the distance between two points on the image to obtain
the vessel flow diameter.

M general measurements refer to general measurements on M mode, Color M mode,
Free Xros M mode images. The measurements listed below can be performed:
