7.21.2 Displaying overload
You can display the calculated overload capability of the transformer in a
tabular display or as a diagram.
Overload table
In this menu, you can view the calculated overload capability of the trans-
former.

The following values are displayed:
Column Definition
Time Overload duration
Load factor K [%] Calculated load factor K in %.
Displays the permissible load factor for the corre-
sponding overload duration.
Power [MVA] Displays the permissible transformer apparent power
for the corresponding overload duration. This value is
calculated from the rated power and the load factor K.
Limit Displays the limit value reached first if the transformer
is overloaded with the recommended load factor K for
the corresponding overload duration.
L [%/d] Transformer loss-of-life in % per day.
Short-term overload: 100% corresponds to a loss-of-
life of 1 day if the transformer were to be loaded nor-
mally.
Long-term overload: 100% corresponds to the total ex-
pected life time of the transformer (30 years).
