5.4.3.5 Communications
The DNP and Modbus master and slave status and values can be seen from this menu. Viewing the tag
values in real-time helps with trouble shooting communication errors. If logging is enabled (via the Advanced
menu) and the View Log button is pressed, then the related communications messages are displayed. (If
both DNP and Modbus masters and slaves are present, a second screen is created to cover all stats and
values).

5.4.3.6 Browse Database
The Browse Database menu option lists all nodes within the real-time database in the MultiSmart. The tags
are categorized and grouped into nodes as illustrated below. Each node can contain a list of tags as well as
a number of child nodes. This screen allows for the selection and display of the real-time value of a tag.
