•You can set the machine to ring between 0 and 10 times. For details, see “List of
other default settings” (page 7-36).
•When the other party is using a phone, the machine will continue to ring after
reception starts. Call charges will be accrued during this time.

•The automatic answering machine/fax switch may not work, depending on the type
of answering machine.
•Automatic reception may not be possible, depending on the other fax machine.
•If the answering machine does not answer, the fax cannot be received.
