Microphone Mute
Talk to a co-worker in your ofce without your caller hearing the conversation.
Microphone Mute lets you turn off your phones handset or Handsfree microphone at any time. When you are using Handsfree
or Handsfree Answerback, Microphone Mute mutes the Handsfree microphone. While talking on the handset, Microphone
Mute mutes the handset microphone.
Once activated, Microphone Mute prevents the caller from hearing conversations in your work area. You can turn off the
Handsfree or handset microphone while your telephone is idle, busy on a call, in DND or while an outside call is ringing.
Lifting the handset to answer a call automatically cancels Microphone Mute.
