Attendant Position
If you are the attendant, your extension is the focal point for call processing within the system. Your system can have up to
four attendants. In addition to the features of a standard keyset, an attendant also has the following unique capabilities (refer
to the respective feature for details):
Attendant Call Queuing
Barge In (Intrusion)
Direct Line Access
Forced Line Disconnect
line Queuing / Line Callback
Night Service / Night Ring
Removing Lines and Extensions from Service
For maximum efciency, you should use a 34-Button Display or 34-Button Super Display Telephone. In addition, you should
nd a DSS Console helpful when processing calls.
Calling the Attendant
To call the attendant:
1. Press
INTERCOM.
2. Dial 0.
a) You hear two beeps.
b) This calls the attendant assigned to your extension. If your system has multiple attendants, you can reach
them by dialing 01-04.
c) In a multiple attendant system, you can dial 0 and wait on the line to automatically call operator 1.
