Flash
Use Flash to access certain features from your service provider such as Caller ID with Call Waiting (if available). For example,
The Caller ID with Call Waiting feature allows you to view the name and number of incoming calls while you're on another
call. You can select the new call (and switch back) by pressing FLASH. This is indispensable when someone is trying to get
through with an important call.
Pressing FLASH interrupts the the loop current on the line.
Flashing an Outside Line
To Flash the outside line you are on:
1. Press
FLASH.
a) If you have a Feature Key on your phone programmed for Flash, you can press it instead. See Feature Keys
on page 89 for more.
2. If you are using Call Waiting Caller ID from your service provider, press FLASH again to return to the initial
call.
