Names for Extensions and Lines
Program a name for your phone to personalize your calls.
You may be able to program a name for your extension or a co-worker's extension. Optionally, your communications manager
may have preprogrammed a name for you.
Your name will show in your caller's display when you place or answer Intercom calls. It is also included in the name directory
to make Directory Dialing easier. Your name can consist of upper and lower case letters, spaces and punctuation, and can be
up to 18 characters long.
Your communications manager can tell you if you can program a name for your extension or a co-worker's extension.
Programming Extension Names
To program your extension's name:
1. Push
Menu + Name (Menu + 81).
2. Enter the name according to the chart below.
3. Push Save when you are done or Cancel to exit without saving.
To program a name for your co-worker's extension:
1. Push
Menu + Admin + Extension Name (Menu + 03).
2. Enter your co-worker's extension number and push Next.
3. Enter the name according to the chart below.
4. Push Save when you are done or Cancel to exit without saving.
