Expected paper size exceeded
Elimination
• Check for paper jam
• Check for double feed papers
• Measure actual paper size
• Compare paper size in
transport direction with size
set in printer
• Compare paper size in PC
software with size set in
printer
• Check if a wrong paper size is
locked
• Check if paper gets stuck on
any machine parts
• Check if the belt(s) is running
in the correct position
• Check paper position on
vacuum belt
• Check for varying paper sizes
(e.g. inserts in a magazine)
Printer with separate feeder:
• Check that the paper size in
transport direction is larger
than the distance paper
sensor to feeding system
Printer with integrated feeder:
• Check if the feeding
components are worn
• Increase the value in the SET
PAP.TOLERANCE menu
