S3300 Smart Managed Pro Switch
Port Security. Enable or Disable the port security feature for the selected port. The
default is Disable.
Max
Allowed Dynamically Learned MAC. Specify the maximum number of
dynamically learned MAC addresses on the selected interface.
Max
Allowed Statically Locked MAC. Specify the maximum number of statically
locked MAC addresses on the selected interface.
Enable V
iolation Traps. Enable or disable the sending of new violation traps
designating when a packet with a disallowed MAC address is received on a locked
port. The default value is No.
4. Click the Appl
y button.
Security MAC Address
Use the Security MAC Address screen to convert a dynamically learned MAC address to a
statically locked address.
To convert learned MAC addresses:
1. Select Security > T
raffic Control > Port Security > Security MAC Address.
2. Select the Convert Dynamic
Address to Static check box.
3. Use
the Port List menu to select the interface for which you want to display data.
4. Click the Appl
y button.
The Dynamic MAC Address entries are converted to
Static MAC address entries in a
numerically ascending order until the Static limit is reached.
The Number of Dynamic MAC Addresses Learned field
displays the number of dynamically
learned MAC addresses on a specific port.
To view dynamic MAC address table information for a port:
From the Port List list, select the port with the information to view.
The Dynamic MAC Address Table shows the MAC addresses and their associated VLANs

Field Description
VLAN ID The VLAN ID corresponding to the Last Violation MAC address.
MAC Address The MAC addresses learned on a specific port.
