S3300 Smart Managed Pro Switch
The Current-active field displays the name of the active image.
3. From
the Unit Number list, select the specific unit number or All units to configure.
4. (Opt
ionally) In the Image Description field, specify a name for the selected image.
5. Next to Activat
e Image, select the check box.
6. Click the Appl
y button.
Note: After activating an image, you must perform a system reset of the
switch to run the new code. The switch continues running the image
shown in the Current-active field until the switch reboots.
 To delete an image:
1. From the Ima
ge Name list, select the image that is not the image shown in the
Current-active field.
You cannot delete the active image.
2. Next to Dele
te Image, select the check box.
3. Click the Appl
y button.
Dual Image Status
The Dual Image Status screen shows information about the active and backup images on the
system.
To view dual image status information, select Mainten
ance > File Management > Dual
Image > Dual Image Status
The following table describes the informa
tion available on the screen.

Field Description
Unit The unit number in the stack.
Image1 Ver The version of the image1 code file.
Image2 Ver The version of the image2 code file.
Current-active The currently active image on this switch.
Next-active The image to be used on the next restart of this switch.
Image1 Description The description associated with the image
1 code file.
Image2 Description The description associated with the image
2 code file.
