11. Utility Software
Before setting WPA/WAP2-EAP as the security of wireless LAN, make a setting from the
[IEEE802.1X] menu.
Setting by Using EAP-TLS

Open the Web page of this machine.
Open the Web Page of This Machine

Log in as the administrator.

Click [Admin Setup].

Select [Network] > [IEEE802.1X].

Select [Disable] for [IEEE802.1X].

Select [EAP-TLS] for [EAP Type].

Enter a user name in [EAP User].

Select [Do not use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication], and then click
[Import].
If [Use SSL/TLS Certificate for EAP authentication] is selected, set the certificate in the [SSL/TLS] menu
beforehand.

Select the certificate file.
You can only import a PKCS#12 file.

Enter the password of the certificate, and then click [OK].

Select [Authenticate Server], and then click [Import].
If you select [Not authenticate Server], go to step 13.

Select the CA certificate file, and then click [OK].
Specify the certificate issued by the certificate authority that the RADIUS server uses for authentication. You can
import a PEM, DER, and PKCS#7 file.

Click [Submit].

Go to "Setting Wireless LAN (WPA/WPA2-EAP)" when the machine becomes
online.
Setting by Using PEAP

Open the Web page of this machine.
