Exalogic Software Prerequisites
The following are the prerequisites for configuring the Exalogic software products for the
system:

Preconfiguring the environment, including database, storage, and network, as described
in Chapter 3, “Network, Storage, and Database Preconfiguration” of the Oracle Exalogic

Your Oracle Exalogic Domain is configured, as described in Chapter 5, “Configuration
Oracle Fusion Middleware” in the Oracle Exalogic Enterprise Deployment Guide, located

Enable Domain-Level Enhancements
To enable domain-level enhancements, complete the following steps:
1.
Log in to the Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console.
2.
Select Domain name in the left navigation pane.
The Settings for Domain name screen is displayed. Click the General tab.
3.
In your domain home page, select Enable Exalogic Optimizations, and click
Save.
4.
Activate changes.
5.
Stop and start your domain.
The Enable Exalogic Optimizations setting collectively enables all of the individual features
described in the following table. The Startup Option indicates how to independently enable and
disable each feature.
